This sneaker features an Italian-inspired colorway of White, Fire Red, Fir, Vela and Cement Gray that emulates the colors of the Italian flag. Designers Peter Moore and Bruce Kilgore chose this color combination because the shoe was made in Italy using premium materials, including pebbled and smooth leather. Like other AJ 2 models, the "Origins" variant boasts a responsive Nike Air-Sole unit in the midsole that provides cushioning without weighing down the shoe. Additionally, the midsole features a Crema Vela tone that blends into the upper.
